					I could not recommend Safe Way enough. I have moved many, many times and always just tried to overlook the movers and their sloppy ways and lack of concern. I have moved many, many times and always just tried to overlook the movers and their sloppy ways and lack of concern. Sometimes I even felt the movers seemed shady.  Well, Safe way moved me last week. They were on time and drove a nice new truck. All three guys were polite and seemed to enjoy their work. They didn't just bring wardrobe boxes, they loaded all my clothes into the boxes and never any mentioned they would do it. They just did. All furniture wrapped carefully. 

This is the best part, when I got to my new house, not only had they unloaded everything, they placed my furniture in each room as if I already lived there. Tv was on TV cabinet facing my couch. Chairs around dining room table AND my clothes were hanging in my closets! 

I have never ever seen anything like it. It was like an interior decorator told them where to arrange things. 

Mike was the guy in charge of the crew and he made the experience amazing.  Yes, I just called a moving experience amazing. Mike, you are fantastic. What a pro!

I was looking for experienced movers to help me move from a 3-story condo to a second floor condo, knowing that I had a heavy, wide sleeper sofa that required some maneuvering to get in and out. And also some tight parking. Right from the start I was put at ease as Roy looked at my place on google maps to confirm access would be okay. Then, Mike, Chad , and Mike showed up moving day ready to go, professional, polite and pleasant. You can tell they like their job and really work as a team.  They  got the job done in 4 hours and made it look like the sofa was a piece of cake though I know it was heavy! Thanks guys! We... read moreI recently completed a move with Safe Way Moving in Irvine and it was for sure the best moving experience I've had.  We had to move from a 2-bedroom apartment to a house about 30 minutes away.  We had gotten scammed pretty bad on our previous interstate move across the country, so we were apprehensive about picking a moving company.  We picked Safe Way because they had good reviews and seemed honest on the phone.  We had a 3 person crew (Cody, Cody, and Chris I believe) for $180 an hour, and they have a 4-hour minimum; our final time ended up being 5 hours. Everyone was very nice, the whole move was relaxing, none of our stuff got damaged at all, and there were no surprise fees at the end.  No fees taken before the move, and had the option to pay with credit or debit card at the end (credit is 3% fee like normal).  You should definitely go with this company if you need movers near Irvine.  

As a side note, if you are doing an interstate move, be sure to first read through the BBB online pamphlet on avoiding moving scams, particularly the introduction, as our scam went pretty much exactly how they describe:

We cannot say enough positive things about Safe Way Moving and Storage. We had a 4 man crew pack and move us 110 miles inside of California. They were prompt, polite, skilled, kind, and so pleasant to be with. This team makes one of the most onerous processes actually fun. Reasonably priced, and worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and hire this company for your next move. It'll be stress-free, professionally managed, and you will end up with no scratches, nothing broken, and your house in perfect shape. I have heard the horror stories of moving so I prepared and found Safeway movers. We called a few different companies and Safeway was by far the best over the phone, most detailed, and helped my family prepare more than any other group. 

Gameday: The team shows up on time, greets us and each other, did a brief walk through, and got right to work. You can see the team is friendly with each other and works great together. They have professional clean trucks they obviously take care of. They have an efficient system which saved us time and money. Everything was organized and efficient. They care for my belongings and treated us with respect. 

At the new home they put the boxed and furniture in the correct room, put together correctly, and nothing was broken. We did the entire move in one day. The entire experience was fantastic. A big thank you to the entire team from the owner Mike to the lead Scott, and the rest of the guys Mike, Cody, Steve and I think another Mike. read less

I called a few companies prior to booking. Safe Way was 40 more per hour than other companies quoted, but I had a good feeling after speaking with the office and reading other companies reviews that the guys were constantly taking breaks, I decided to book Safe Way. The guys did arrive about an hour later than quoted but had excellent attitudes and worked very hard. I don't know how they are so cheery doing such hard work. 
They worked efficiently and made it a good experience. Definitely worth the higher hourly rate.
