I have heard the horror stories of moving so I prepared and found Safeway movers. We called a few different companies and Safeway was by far the best over the phone, most detailed, and helped my family prepare more than any other group.

Gameday: The team shows up on time, greets us and each other, did a brief walk through, and got right to work. You can see the team is friendly with each other and works great together. They have professional clean trucks they obviously take care of. They have an efficient system which saved us time and money. Everything was organized and efficient. They care for my belongings and treated us with respect.

At the new home they put the boxed and furniture in the correct room, put together correctly, and nothing was broken. We did the entire move in one day. The entire experience was fantastic. Safe Way isn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but they did great work. The movers (Scott, Mike and Mike) were fantastic. They were fast, super efficient, careful and had a great attitude. I called a few companies prior to booking. Safe Way was 40 more per hour than other companies quoted, but I had a good feeling after speaking with the office and reading other companies reviews that the guys were constantly taking breaks, I decided to book Safe Way. The guys did arrive about an hour later than quoted but had excellent attitudes and worked very hard. I don't know how they are so cheery doing such hard work.
They worked efficiently and made it a good experience. Definitely worth the higher hourly rate.

What a fine... read moreWe have moved 16 times and years back my husband drove for North American Van Lines. We certainly have had our fair share of moving drama. Today we had Mike, Mike and Eric do our local move. What a fine oiled machine. They didn't stop for 6 hours. They worked their b..... off and were polite, accommodating and very professional. We would rate this team as one of the top crews we've ever dealt with. Not that I'm looking to move again but after 16 moves there could always be a #17 and this crew would be our #1 choice.

I feel bad I don't remember everyone's names other than Matt but they all worked like a well oiled machine. I have had pretty bad luck with movers breaking stuff in the past but not this time. They came in and each did their thing and got it all done quicker than I expected and were great about putting things in the right areas at the new place. I'll admit I didn't shop around for price. I know lowest price isn't always best but these folks were recommended by my realtor who has also used them for her own moves so I felt comfortable just going with them and I was very happy with all of it. read less

Cody and Cody (the 2 Cody's) worked their butts off. They were professional and fun guys. They were extremely thorough. They wrapped everything nice and neat....and then they hustled their butts off.
This company in a whole, is great. Pretty good rates but (from what I gathered). Thanks Safeway for the superb service. If we ever have to move again or refer someone, you're the one! read less

We we're scammed by another company. Our (paid for) movers did not show up, or call on the day we were supposed to move. As a matter of fact they have never called.
